Re release on CD Ei Blot Til Lyst

Just-in. I got them in the mail today. First release was on cassette in the late 1989 by Staalplaat as part of the Confrontation series.

This is how it came about:

I was invited by Ben Hollander to make life music on his radio program in Amsterdam. I did not want to do it alone, I did not consider myself a musician enough to fill a whole program. So I invited my partner in crime and love, Willem de Ridder, also not amusician, but great storyteller. He worked a lot with composer musician Hessel Veldman for several projects and I had listened to his sound on the Ridders radio program de “Radiola Salon”on which he played never heard before cassettes. Literally, he opened the envelopes, took the cassettes out, put them in the player and broadcasted it. This was unique and a great chance for people to get heard. More about that in my previous posts. I also invited Nick Nicole, Hessel’s partner and Ben Hollander himself to be part of this spontaneous project.
It was the beginning of our group FNTC.
And so it happened….

We thought, because the recording, as life plays it’s little tricks, wasn’t recorded.

So we did it again, this time at the home of Hessel and Nicole. Conform the title for “educational and entertainment pupose”. In Dutch “Ter lering en vermaak”.

Ei Blot Till Lyst, A Spontaneous Opera

Soundtracks of New York streets and subways recorded by Cora & Willem as background for the 6th cassette in the series “Confrontation”, recorded at the Exartflat with Hessel on the controls while icey winterstorms sung too!
Comes in an Card Wallet with a lipstick kiss from Cora, on the CD , computer graphic by Willem de Ridder.

The Cd was out since the end of March 2026 and already I got some feedback, Yeah!

I am over the moon, again totally in awe how my past is coming back to remind me and to boost my selfesteem. Who would have thought to get this kind of reactions almost 40 year later.
